Born and raised in Toronto, Sandy started working in the legal field in 1985 as a legal secretary in corporate law at a big Bay Street law firm. She quickly learned the importance of office politics and that having a sense of humour may actually help keep her job, which it did. Moving through the ranks to and becoming a law clerk only fueled her desire to one day have her own clients, but without a law degree, she wasn’t sure how this would actually happen. In 2000 Sandy decided to leave her legal friends and became a mortgage broker a year later. What a difference! "I truly found a way to turn my former workmates into my clients and had fun doing it."

Sandy has recently completed her term as a member of the Board of Trustees for a charity named Pet Trust run out of the University of Guelph. Presently Sandy is working for MortgageBrokers.com as an Accredited Mortgage Professional.
